Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with asphalt equipment, poses strong communication skills, a high level of enthusiasm, enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to learn quickly.

As an Asphalt Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting and assisting the construction team with achieving their business objectives with the following responsibilities:

• Assist Foreman/Operators whenever needed
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Operate the paver and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Perform site clean-up
• Follow instructions from Supervisor(s)
• Follow all company health and safety requirements
• Work as a team member and communicate respectfully with coworkers

Area of Specialization: Asphalt

Requirements:

• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels
• Physically able to lift up to 50-80 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime
