Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in concrete finishing, poses strong communication skills, a high level of enthusiasm, enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to learn quickly.

As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a critical role in supporting and assisting the construction team with achieving their business objectives with the following responsibilities:

• Leveling the top surface of freshly poured concrete on floors and sidewalks
• Operating a power vibrator to compress concrete
• Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete
• Waterproofing, damp-proofing and restoring concrete surfaces
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
• Assist Foreman whenever needed
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Operate and care for construction equipment
• Perform site clean-up
• Follow all company health and safety requirements
• Work as a team member and communicate respectfully with coworkers
